Fees & Rebates
Below is an overview of costs for paediatric and psychology services, along with Medicare rebate details and our cancellation policy.
Announcement 20.02.26
In recognition of the cost of living pressures impacting our families and communities, we have reduced our initial appointment fee from $980 to $850.
Additionally, for our returning patients after three years, we have dissolved the previous $800 fee, now charging only a yearly review fee of $550. Our dedication to providing high care and service remains unwavering, and this fee change will take effect on February 23 2026.
GENERAL PHYSICIAN FEES
- You must have a valid Medicare number and Referral to obtain rebate benefits.
- Once the payment has been made for your appointment, you will receive a lodgement statement and a EFT receipt.
Our staff lodge your claim with Medicare electronically meaning you will receive your rebate within 24-48 hours into the account registered with Medicare.
Paediatrician Services Fee Schedule
Paediatrician Behavioural Assessment and Management (such as ADHD, GDD, ODD) – $1,750, “payable in three instalments/visits“.
For Complex ADHD/GDD/ANXIETY/SLD/IQ/EMOTIONAL DYSREGULATION – “Second follow-up will be $600“.
Paediatrician “ASD Assessment and Report” – $1,650, payable in two instalments/visits.

- ASD Assessment – $1,500 + Report $500 (Not Claimable to Medicare)
- Cognitive (IQ) Assessment and Report – $1,400
- Dyslexia Assessment and Report – $1,200
SmartPaeds In-House Counselling and Parents Education Session
- 50-min Individual sessions (Parent(s) or multiple caregivers) – $120
- Group session – $35 pp/ $60 couple
